Accessibility
What we have done, what we know is not perfect, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
What we have built in
- Every page is built from semantic HTML with one H1 and a logical heading order.
- Text and interface colours were checked against WCAG 2.2 AA contrast on the actual band each element sits on.
- A skip link at the top of every page moves straight to the main content.
- Navigation works by keyboard, and dropdowns can be opened without a mouse.
- Every form control has a visible label associated with it.
- Images carry alternative text describing what the picture shows; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Every diagram is followed by a prose description carrying the same information.
- Animation respects the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system.
- The site is usable at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
What we have not done
To be confirmed: A test with assistive-technology users and a formal WCAG 2.2 AA audit (commission before launch and publish the outcome here)
We would rather say that plainly than publish a conformance claim we have not tested. Our automated contrast and structure checks run on every build and pass; that is not the same as a proper audit.
